St Peters Lutheran College is a large co-educational private school in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, founded by the Lutheran Church in 1945. The college has grown from its original Ross Roy homestead to become the largest Lutheran school in Australia, offering Prep to Year 12 education across its Indooroopilly and Springfield campuses with additional outdoor education delivered at the Ironbark centre near Crows Nest. It provides day and boarding programs, enrols close to 3,000 students and operates under the governance of the Lutheran Church of Australia and the St Peters Lutheran College Council. Ross Roy and the school chapel are listed on the Queensland Heritage Register.
The college is organised into four sub-schools and offers a broad curriculum that includes the Queensland Certificate of Education and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Its co-curricular program is extensive, with a nationally recognised music department and strong participation in AIC and QGSSSA sport. Year 9 students undertake a compulsory five-week residential program at Ironbark, which is regarded as a defining feature of the St Peters experience. Alumni, known as Old Scholars, include Olympians, national swimmers and athletes, media figures, actors and prominent public leaders.
