The AIC Rugby Competition is contested by the eight member schools of the Associated Independent Colleges in South-East Queensland, Australia. Established in 1999, it replaced the former TAS competition and has since become one of the state’s most competitive schoolboy rugby leagues.

The season runs during Term 2, with each school facing the others once in a round-robin format. Traditional rugby powerhouses such as Marist College Ashgrove, St Laurence’s College, Padua College, Iona College, and Villanova College headline the competition, known for its strong community support and passionate rivalries.

The AIC competition has developed a reputation for producing well-coached, disciplined players who regularly progress to Queensland Reds, Super Rugby, and national honours. Its focus on sportsmanship, tradition, and player development has cemented it as a cornerstone of Queensland schoolboy rugby.
